The Oasis 

Project Details

In 2009 the SCBA converted a city-owned, vacant weed-filled plot of land on Ventura Blvd. directly across from Marshalls into a lush, drought tolerant pocket park and landscaped walkway named “The Oasis."   It is the largest of the SCBA projects and features native plants and grasses, several mature live Oak trees, a dry creek river bed and a few sitting areas for quiet contemplation.
