What is SCBA?

The Studio City Beautification Association is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to the beautification and improvement of our community. For over 37 years, the SCBA has been quietly doing the work of preserving the intrinsic beauty and special charm of our beloved community.  As one of the  most active beautification programs in Los Angeles, SCBA works year-round to protect and enhance our shared spaces -- creating pocket parks, planting gardens, scrubbing graffiti, repairing vandalized medians and installing art walks celebrating local artists.  The goal of every project we undertake is to create pride among our residents and to build a stronger sense of community.  To continue doing our work, we need the help of our community.

Who We Are

SCBA is managed by volunteers, but it is run as a business, keeping tight control on expenses and making every dollar work. By leveraging city and partner resources, securing private and public grants, and always with the generous contributions from individual contributors, SCBA has been able to invest over  $1 million beautifying Studio City since its inception in 1984.
